We had a fantastic time,... so thanks very much for letting us stay for just the 4 nights. The weather was great, so we enjoyed the beaches etc, visiting Seaton/Beer, Lyme Regis on the Thursday (swimming in the sea at the end of October !!) but I must say the walk to Budleigh Salterton was one of the highlights. I hadnt expected to be able to do that, and although a little longer than we thought at 3 miles, it was a fantastic 'adventure' and one the kids really enjoyed, and then to end up on the beach was a delight. We then went to Bicton Gardens which was great also.
The cottage is fantastic of course, and a real pleasure to stay in... the dark nights seemed so much more acceptable and the girls loved the stairs (we live in a bungalow !!)
